MyImouto v1.0.3 - Job Tasks and Batch Upload

The next MyImouto version will feature Job Tasks and Batch Uploads.

I worked a little more on Job Tasks (it's already working actually) and added a new task to the defaults ones, a task that will automate the "External data search" feature added in the previous version.

Running the "external_data_search" task job will enable YourImouto to update all your posts, current and future ones, with data from other image boards automatically.

It has its own small configuration that will be explained in the wikis at GoogleCode in the following days.

Batch Uploads will also be available. I didn't know how nice that feature is, and the external_data_search task kind of complements it. You set posts to be uploaded with Batch Upload, without minding the tags and other data, then the data is searched for those posts automatically.

Information on how to enable Job Tasks will be added to the wiki in the next days.

  1. I'm really looking forward to setting up job tasks, I've spent a lot of time on sancom and have downloaded quite a big chunk of it. It would be fantastic to simply batch upload everything to my personal board and have the server take care of tagging it using other boards.

    1. Note that "Batch upload" is used to get images from other boorus. To mass-upload files from your computer, you would use the Import feature instead.

How to enable Job tasks is in the general wiki:
