After a long time I'm finally done with this thing.
It's been hosted here: http://code.google.com/p/my-imouto-booru/It has been moved to GitHub: https://github.com/myimouto/myimouto. Information is also there.
Here you can see some more pictures.
[Edit]
Oops, any date in comments say "31 Dec 1969". Fixed that in the code.

Sidebar is there, although it doesn't work exactly like in Imouto.

You can have your own dovac...

...and your own petopeto.

  1. I really like myimouto, congratulations ;)
right now, I'm transferring all my images to it.

Btw, I wrote a few notes in the comments section of your wiki about the installation under linux... I typed wrong the wiki syntax so it looks messy :P

    anyway, congratulations

  3. hi! I tried to mail you (to what I though it was your email address) about a patch I wrote.
The patch is nothing spectacular or anything, is only to allow the upload of gif, bmp and swf files.

Btw, right now I'm writing an xml interface to the api, based on your json interface. (so soon I'm gonna have more patches to send ^_^)
I started with that, because I needed it for a script I did to automatically tag images, taking the tags from other boorus, using also their api.
can you give me a mail address, so I can talk to you more about this?

    1. If you do not mind, could you please post a download link for your patch? I would GREATLY like to be able to load gif and swf files in my home imouto.
      Thank you,
      TheFithAxis.

    2. Just a note, his patch would probably not work on the newer versions as the code has changed a lot, and the next release will bring new code as well (so anything you write now might not work if you upgrade). I'll add GIF support for the next release and eventually support for SWF.

    3. Thank you for this. I BARELY understand php script: I installed it and hammered on it until I got it to start working. I have 3 questions:
      1) If I upgrade, will it 'forget' the loaded pictures?
      2) How do I access the 'browse mode'? I can only seem to see 16 at a time right now.
      3) The Auto-tag feature: if I add a duplicate image, it identifies it, and disregards the new one. If the new one has tags that the existing file does not have, is there a way to have it add the new tags to the old entry?

      I am useing:
      my.imouto 0.1.8a
MySQL Community Server - Software version: 5.5.25a
      Apache/2.4.2 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.1c PHP/5.4.4
      PHP extension: mysql
      phpMyAdmin 3.5.2

    4. 1) Of course not.
      2) You access it by going to /post/browse
      3) Currently you can't do this. But I could add this feature in the future, but probably only for Import.

Just in case, the latest version has now GIF and SWF support.

    5. Thank you. I hadn't realized I was looking at the early stages. I upgrades, and it remembers all my old pictures in regular post view, but when I click on one, it says "the post does not exist". I moved the data folder into the public folder. I'll try hammering on it until I get it to work. Thank you for the awesome site. Is there a way to make the browse mode filter to tags, (ie. the hot_car and/or the nature tags)

    6. It's strange that you get "The post does not exist". That error occurs when the database doesn't return the expected result (but it doesn't necessarily mean the database is wrong).

To search for posts tagged with "hot_car" and/or "nature", search for "~hot_car ~nature". For more info on this you can go to /help/cheatsheet.

      And you're welcome!
